We are Cory Blakey and Lindsey Inman. We look forward to sharing our knowledge of the PR world with you. What we know comes from four years of hard work, study and a genuine curiosity about the communications industry. We've put in a sincere effort here at Murray State University. To get the ball rolling, we'd like to help you get to know us both a little better.
Cory Blakey
I'm a senior at Murray State University, located in Murray, Kentucky. I grew up in a small town near Bowling Green, KY I am just finishing up my studies this semester and will receive my Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising witha minor in Sociology. I expect to graduate in May of 2012. I'm excited about graduating and adventuring into the real world and starting to live my life to the fullest potential. I'm also excited to use my advertising skills in any possible job opportunities I may come across.
Lindsey Inman
I’m a senior at Murray State University majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Advertising. I grew up in a small town close to Evansville, Indiana. I have worked at the CFSB Center for three years as the Student Account Manager. The job has provided me with hands-on experience with book keeping, office work, advertising, and the process it takes to put on an event. I am a three-year member of the Racer Girls Dance Team and a one year member of PRSSA. My plans after graduation in May are undecided.
Now that you know a little more about us as authors, we plan to start writing about ways you can use analytics and insights tools within social media to accomplish various public relations goals and objectives. Stay tuned for our next post: The basics of Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
